Free foreclosure prevention workshop on Tuesday
A free foreclosure prevention workshop will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Southwest branch of the Kern County Library, 8301 Ming Ave. It's hosted by Self-Help Enterprises, a nonprofit in Visalia that's a federal government-approved credit agency. Participants are advised to arrive early to get a seat. Although one-on-one counseling won't be available Tuesday, people may bring copies of
