State sues three Miami foreclosure rescue firms
Attorney General says owners, attorneys took money up front but did little for customers Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum has sued three Miami-Dade County foreclosure rescue firms, and the attorneys who worked with them, alleging they charged upfront "qualifying payments" as high as $1,299 to do loan modifications, a violation of state law.
