First quarter foreclosure rates up
RealtyTrac reported today that nationwide foreclosures in the first quarter of this year jumped 35.4 percent from the same time last year.
Beware of foreclosure rescue scam
If you are a homeowner and are facing foreclosure, there may be people looking to make a fast buck by taking advantage of your plight. The State Banking Department is warning those in this situation to be on the lookout for so -called "Foreclosure Rescue Specialists."
